**** The search for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 has gained momentum after a damaged suitcase was found on Reunion Island. It comes after the suitcase was found hours after a piece of debris believed to be that of the Boeing 777 (triple 7) was also found. The debris has been sent to offices of France’s crash investigation agency in Toulouse to verify the claims. **** To local news now and a section of Little Bourke Street in Melbourne has been closed off by Police after the discovery of a body early this morning. The man's body was found on Little Bourke Street, near the corner of Queen Street. Police are not deeming the man’s death as suspicious but are expected to release more details. **** The 30-year-old man believed to be behind the disappearance of a teenage university student who vanished in the Bendigo area while jogging will continue to be held and questioned by Police. Officers found the teenager in a car in Maiden Gully, 13km away on the other side of Bendigo. Inspector Michael Talbot who leads the investigations says the location she was found at is not somewhere you’d just walk to. The teenager set off on a run in a national Park in One Tree Hill in Bendigo at 3pm on Wednesday. ****Sunshine and Albion train stations are exposing public transport users in the Brimbank area to an alarming number of crimes according to fresh Victoria Police data. The statistics showed 218 offences committed in the Brimbank area within 12 months. 136 offences were committed in and around the Sunshine and Albion rail stations, with further crimes carried out at carparks, bus stops and trains travelling through the area. St Albans, Keilor Plains and Ginifer rail stations also recorded high crime rates in the study. ****The health and wellbeing of Australian tradies will be in the spotlight ahead of a month long campaign which begins tomorrow. Tradies National Health Month comes as figures show 1 in 5 serious workplace injuries involve a tradie, while many also admit to working despite feeling minor aches and pains. The campaign focuses on physical and mental health, safety on site and the positive effects of physiotherapy. SPORT ****In the Ashes, and a loss is looming for the Australians after a disappointing performance with the bat allowed England to move closer to victory. Day two of the third test at Edgbaston (Edge-Baston) saw the Australians slump to 7 for 168, leading England by a slim 23 runs. Day 3 will see Aussie wicketkeeper Peter Nevill (37 not out) and tailender Mitchell Starc (7 not out) looking to attempt a miracle escape for the tourists. **** In AFL, round 18 kicks off tonight with Hawthorn facing Richmond at the MCG. Tomorrow will feature Geelong against Brisbane, Collingwood against Melbourne, Sydney to play Adelaide with Lance Franklin being recalled for the clash, Carlton will play North Melbourne and Gold Coast will face West Coast.
